And while the Eater 38 is a crucial resource covering old standbys and neighborhood essentials across the city, it’s not a chronicle of the ‘it’ places of the moment. Asian eateries are a dime a dozen in this town lately, but KYU stands out from the pack. The brainchild of two former Zuma alums, it features Asian eats with a barbecue twist, like brisket lettuce wraps and duck “burnt ends,” that perfectly reflects its hip Wynwood setting.
